The practice of drawing has given me strong observation skills and the ability to absorb visual information intuitively.

I approach design just as I would an illustration. I start with an idea, observe how that idea has been expressed before, and explore how I might reimagine my findings before ultimately crafting the final product

Though illustration and UX may seem very different, the visual literacy I've gained from years of drawing is a powerful tool that gives me an edge when having to study, replicate or reimagine visual concepts in design projects.
